Contrary to the reports by the deputy Governor of Taraba State, Alhaji Garba Umar, who said that his boss, Governor Danbaba Suntai, was unresponsive when he paid him a visit in Germany leading to the conclusion that he was brain dead, video evidence now being shown on Nigerian TV stations show that the governor is not brain dead.
In the video, Suntai can be seen responding to Plateau state governor, Jonah Jang, who visited him. Jonah Jang in the video told told Suntai that his pastor had given him some anointing oil for him (Suntai), Suntai responded to Jang and the conversation continued.
With the latest development, there is set to be an increase in the tempo of political intrigues that have held Taraba state spell bound for the last couple of months.
