Goldie’s Autopsy Result Out.

**she died of a hypertensive heart disease, leading to a spontaneous bleeding into the brain tissue.

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital's department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine in their autopsy on late Nigerian pop star, Goldie Harvey, revealed that the musician died of ‘hypertensive heart disease’ which triggered ’ intracerebellar haemorrhage.
The autopsy, done on February 19, was signed by Dr. O.O Oyewole.

Intracerebellar haemorrhage is a spontaneous bleeding into the brain tissue which if left untreated can lead to coma and death.
High blood pressure raises the risks of spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage by two to six times.
More common in adults than in children, intraparenchymal bleeds are usually due to penetrating head trauma, but can also be due to depressed skull fractures.
