Cristiano Ronaldo: half of Real Madrid fans want him sold

Online poll of Real Madrid supporters reveals that fans would prefer the club to accept an offer for the striker

End of the road: has Ronaldo played his last game for Real Madrid?

The poll, conducted by Spanish newspaper AS, revealed that 50% of fans who voted thought that the Real Madrid board should accept an offer for the striker.

Ronaldo scored a hat-trick at the weekend for Portugal

Despite registering an incredible 225 goals in 200 appearances for the La Liga giants, supporters seem to feel it's the right time for the former Manchester United striker to move on.

When asked whether Real Madrid should accept a bid between 100 and 150 million euros for CR7, nearly 16,000 of the 32,000 people who took part believed Los Blancos should cash in on the Ballon d'Or winner.

Ronaldo had a close relationship with ex-manager, Carlo Ancelotti

In a trophyless season for Real Madrid, Ronaldo has been caught on more than one occasion expressing his disatisfaction with his Real teammates - and offering no attempt to conceal them...

In a game at the Bernabeu this season, Ronaldo appeared to kick the ball into the net in frustration after Alvaro Arbeloa robbed him of a certain tap-in.
