Hilarious:Top 10 Worst Hair Styles In Football History.... Nigerian Included

The Belgian believes his barnet is getting on the goat of the Premier League whistlers and he doesn't know why.
But when it comes to footballers experimenting at the barbers, he's merely a snip off the old block.
Here are 10 others who tried to dye for their profession... and got it horribly wrong.

Abel Xavier
10. ABEL XAVIER
The much-travelled Portugal defender played for both Liverpool and Everton before his career petered out at LA Galaxy. He couldn't decide between the red and blue half of Merseyside, so opted for peroxide braids instead.

Taribo West
9. TARIBO WEST
The retired Nigerian defender went from the heights of Inter and AC Milan to a brief taste of English football with Derby County - possibly the inspiration for a hairstyle based on rams' horns

Carlos Tevez
8.CARLOS TEVEZ
The Argentine ace tries to sell a dummy to draw attention from his crazy barnet when scoring against Blackburn for Man Utd in 2008.

David Beckham
7. DAVID BECKHAM
Taxi Driver haircut for Becks? 'Taxi for Goldenballs' would have been more apt after this effort in a 2001 friendly against Mexico.

Chris Waddle
6. CHRIS WADDLE
The flat-top and mullet combo modelled by the wing wizard in the 1990 World Cup never really took off. Sadly, the same couldn't be said about his penalty in the semi-final against West Germany.

Bobby Charlton
5. BOBBY CHARLTON
The midfield maestro was a lot stronger on the flanks than he was up top - and that was rarely more apparent than when he was in full flight for his country.

Paul Scharner
4. PAUL SCHARNER
The Austrian defender looks shellshocked to have dyed his own hair in the colours of the opposition as his Baggies side faced Everton in 2011.

Joe Cole
3. JOE COLE
The midfielder had every right to turn red after this embarrassing effort for West Ham in 2002. At least it diverted attention from wearing a shirt three sizes too big.

Jason Lee
2. JASON LEE
The pineapple effectdidn't seem to help the 6ft 3in front man hit the onion bag. The Forest striker struggled with both terrace chants and opposition centre-backs before leaving the City Ground with 14 goals in 76 games in 1997.

Ryan Giggs
1. RYAN GIGGS
A one-club footballer, the Welshman has played in every season of the Premier League with distinction. On the golf course - with many more clubs - his appearance is distinctly below par.
